okay so i went rode dirt bikes in real like today … i literally just got back , i got home and loaded Mxbikes starting riding on one of the new national tracks with the preview bike . and i love the way the preview bike doesn’t get overtaken by piboso bad physics like the other bikes . but like if i was sliding around like that on the track in real life i literally would check my back tire to see if it was flat or something . yes in real life i can hit the back break and come in to a corner and slide into it . and i can with the preview bike but i feel like i have to every time with the preview bike .also if i wanna kind of keep in the throttle and let the rear end swing around i can in real life and with the preview bike but not every time in every straight away with a curve or every turn am i sliding to the right or the left in real life . like the preview bikes .the whole time i ride the preview bike I’m literally in a battle with the back end trying to keep my self from sliding out . and i pretty much have to come into every turn with my back end sliding out sideways like I’m in moto GP or something . i should be able to just ease on the breaks and come into a turn and get on the gas and stay in the rut. and use the rut to gain speed. and the preview bike is like skating around everything . there’s needs to be a moment of freedom from the sliding around . like maybe at lower speeds just have a little more stick . thanks guys for putting so much hard work into these bikes . i know you guys will figure it out. i could go on forever about sliding around but I’m not going to . i just thought u should know i rode today in real life and i really didn’t feel like the sliding around was true to the dirt bike experience .
These are a big step in the right direction. The sides of the tires are still too loose compared to real life but it’s not far off. I’m sure another iteration will work out the kinks.
Hello can i ask a question. How do I get the files downloaded Tyres and Bikes cuz i can just download bikes and when i am finished i don’t have the bikes
i am new and i think i am dumb af how do i get the bikes
why do i only get the four bikes and no tires
these bikes are sooooo good i love them good job oem team
in my opinion i think lower speed a little and add more grip to the tires but other wise bikes feel good
and when im wide open sitting down around a turn i have still so much grip
Ma che dici??????
I’m sorry to break it to you, but the tyres didn’t change between v1 and v2. They’re exactly the same.
I feel that the V1 of the previews are much more realistic. I have been riding dirtbikes irl for 25 years and when u rip a 450 wide open the rear wheel is gonna slip and spinn like it was on the first release of the preview. With this change I feel like the bikes are pretty much the same as the current OEM’s when it comes to tracktion. The feel of the bike when it comes to the front end and agility is pretty damn good, but the tracktion is too much. If you compare mxbikes and irl it is ridiculus how unrealistic fast we are going. Ofcourse the tracks needs to change if we are getting less traction, but it would be much more realistic. Love the good work you guys are doing for the game and community.
I second this but still think preview 1 needed a little more tire bite and power. These v2s feel very similar to the old oem’s with a more stable front end
il 450 deve avere piu motore in basso
can only speak for 450 and the average weekend warrior. V2 is way better for me. I can now really enjoy supercross. I never could hit whoops that fast and easy, the main update is in the front, power is now way better, grip is better, maybe even a bit too much again. but on hardpack tracks, thats a plus. I dont think you could ever throw better whips or scrubs. for me, I guess 90% of commenters never put the time in to try set ups. And for me, now the bike reacts so much better to real life change. So for SX harden up the suspension. really mess with tire pressure. If you cant scrub, try to add a little tire pressure and tires will slip.
man thanks OEM team, for me this is a huge step forward and for the majority a update in consitency.
I think you should give us the V1 tire load back, but leave the 4 changes you made to the bike for V2. The 250s in particular needed that top speed increase and for the higher gears to pull better, but the turning on the v1s felt great and made it important to have throttle control. I love the way the power feels on them now especially the yz250f, but I’d prefer the traction of the first previews, or at least like 3/4s of the way back towards where they were before from where they are now.
i think somewhere in-between v1 and v2 would work best for the load
one step forward two steps back.. go back to v1 it was finally going in the right direction it wasnt a lack of grip it was a lack of throttle control and setup for most people.. sorry but 99% of riders arent wide open everywhere. making it easier or catering to the track creators isnt it. you could actually ride multiple lines on v1 and put the bike where you wanted it and it took skill to ride them now they just dog again im sorry.
bike doesnt scrub at all anymore because that back tire will not slide when you want it too, just keeps looping up face.. so realistic lol
They don’t have to be making these bikes for us at all so chill out bro. Like I said, I also prefer the V1 traction, but the bikes definitely needed the speed increase and more pull in the higher gears. I think these preview 2 bikes combined with the preview 1 tires, or maybe 3/4 of the way back towards those from where they are now, would be the perfect bikes

okay so once again, I do like the suspension and the front end does feel really nice. something just doesn’t feel right. the traction in the rear feels so awkward and unnatural, especially in sand. I am all for adding realism to the game but not when it’s taking away from the fun-ness of it all. every time I get on a preview bike, I literally can’t wait to get back on the old oems as it just feels so much more fun to me. the 250 at least still feels underpowered in the bottom end imo. do I need more time on the bikes sure, but I wanted to give my initial thoughts.
btw for all the people that are gonna get butt hurt about my opinion, I am NOT saying there shouldn’t be less traction in the rear, I’m simply saying it doesn’t feel right to me the way it is right now.
I think they should release these preview 2 bikes with the tires from preview 1, the way those slid felt very nice and it made sense how to control it and made riding the bike feel more realistic, the only thing I felt wrong with the 1st preview bikes was that they felt so slow in the higher gears, so I like those changes but I don’t like how the rear end feels now, it’s almost like the rear wants to slide out when you’re off the throttle more than when you’re on it
supposedly the tires are actually the same but yeah I know what you’re saying. I’ve ridden my whole life, and the slip just feels awkward to me. I do think they will figure it out but it’s not there yet. the biggest thing is I feel they still lack in the bottom end. I don’t think slowing the bikes down is what’s going to stop dudes from holding it wide everywhere. just be pinned everywhere but still coming up short on the jumps lol
I think you guy’s nailed it this time. I have only tried the 250’s but they are like night and day different than previous previews
I think they’d be the best with the speed and higher gear changes they made to the preview 2 bikes, but with the tires from preview 1, the rear end felt way more realistic but also more natural to play with, the bikes just felt too slow at higher speeds like they couldn’t pull at all in 4th or 5th, at least for the 250s
The contrast between these bikes and the first set is like night and day. The overall stability is exellent but it feels like we are back on rails give us some a little bit more slip in the back and you are golden.
I agree, the speed changes to these are great but the 1st preview tires felt way better than these. They had plenty of traction when you were going straight the bikes just didn’t pull hard enough to get some big high speed jumps. These bikes with the last tire, or maybe even just 3/4 of the way back towards those tires from these current ones, would be perfect.
They feel amazing, great changes from last preview. Would not be mad at all if this was the final release.
I’d like to see these current preview bikes but with the last preview tires, or at least 3/4 of the way back towards those
spectatcular give me 14 of em
Alright, first off thank you for listening to the community!!
Okay, these Preview #2 bikes are SO much better! WAY more power to the ground with the rear end and the slip isn’t as bad as it was before. Much more controllable!
Not sure if my other post was read, but I have a little over 250 hours in the game, and I feel as if i stand for the majority of the mx bikes community. I’ve tested these bikes again(GasGas 250f) at 2024 IRONMAN PRO national. so far 20 laps, running a fast lap of 2:09.69 and consistently in the 2:10s-2:12s
Godzilla is actually clearable now with these 250s!! and then the huge table top right after I wasn’t even close to clearing on the first previews, these new previews I can clear it!
Also, this is my biggest thing with these bikes is the tires.. If you could add more grip on the SIDE of the nobbies! When you’re going through rollers that curve like at millville it’s super hard to keep the bike from wadding out. It just wants to loop out with the slightest amount of throttle.
LEANING BACKWARDS IS NOT THE META. I’ve found that keeping the rider neutral/leaning forward when needed is the new meta while turning! Your rear end gets too much traction now if leaning back and you’ll wad out, which is realistic and good! Hopefully we get these more fine tuned and get the full update soon!! I can’t wait! Thanks OEM Team.
I want the slip from preview 1 back, the power was the only issue with them not clearing some jumps, because the bikes had plenty of traction when going straight, they could get big jumps right out of corners just not the high speed stuff. I love that these have more power but the cornering felt better on the last preview
same the first preview felt better for me
i don’t think there’s been much change in power or ‘added power’. the preview 1’s were fast the traction just wasn’t there way too much slip.
if you go compare v1s to v2s you can clear everything the same in a straight line, however you can’t out of the corner because of how much slip there was.
and there’s still a lot of slip on the v2’s I think it’s perfect. Preview 1’s definitely lacked more traction then power. preview 2s i think are what the final release will be like.
these bikes are so much better, they have more grip in the rear so your not always sliding everywhere, i personally loves these one more than the last version these ones are so much better, and have more control with the bike. I think these bikes are perfect and shouldnt be changed anymore.
Im fine with either or, as long as you keep the slip in the rear. I think maybe make one of the tires if not an extra set like the original 120’s (im literally keeping the 1st oem previews for fun). Also the power is definitely better but id be fine with how it was in the first as well. 250’s feel absolutely insane in 4th i dig it.
honest opinion these feel like they’re back on rails like the oems i think the first set of previews was like 98% there just a tiny bit too much slip they felt very natural to a real mx bike with the way the throttle was managed. this rendition has basically brought the bike back to open and shot throttle however not as bad as the current oems. i dont think the fault is on the oem team more so on the community for wanting an arcade feel which ends up not being as fun for higher level people at some point.
these where my initial thoughts on the first set of previews
Congrats to the oem team for the first good set of bikes theyve made since beta 16 please dont allow the terrible takes get the best of you this time around you’re finally back on the right track:
1.these are the most realistic the bikes have felt
2.the reward you get from having proper throttle control is just fucking amazing most of the community it going to whine about the slip because they just want to hold it wide open. No body can ride a 450 the way we have been on bikes irl there’s barely a need for restraint on the current bikes.
just try and work on the slip on cambers it’s manageable but some times unpredictable
the physics in the air feel ever so slightly lighter that feels great as well
the way the bake can set into a rut now is beautiful and i dont seem to explode from going other ruts anymore
there’s some minor tuning to work on with the slip nothing major though
Keep it up guys this is the first update i havn’t been disappointed with in a very long time
These the ones right here
